After a lot of backlash from the community about being open, Ginnie Springs closes following Gov. Ron DeSantis’ state-wide stay-at-home order.
This popular spring typically draws in many visitors around this time and during the summer, and they remained open even after most state parks closed to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Ginnie Springs closes for the remainder of the month in support of the 30-day state wide stay-at-home order. “If you have a reservation during the month of April, we are issuing full refunds,” according to the Ginnie Springs Facebook page.
