Box Tops for Education, a program that lets families earn cash for their schools, is giving back to teachers with the #GiveExtraCredit campaign.

“Last week for Teacher Appreciation Week, Box Tops for Education partnered with Chance The Rapper for the first-ever Twilight Awards, where we donated $300,000 to teachers and schools,” according to the Box Tops for Education website. “Teacher Appreciation Week may be over, but Box Tops for Education is encouraging families to #GiveExtraCredit to teachers all month long.”

To participate in the campaign, recognize a special teacher in your life by posting on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #GiveExtraCredit. For every post in May, Box Tops for Education will give $1 to SupplyATeacher.org, up to $50,000. The organization is already donating $100,000 to the program to help teachers.
