Camp Crystal Lake is inviting you to two free events in celebration of its 75th anniversary! On Saturday, November 18 and Saturday, December 9 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., families can enjoy outdoor activities at the outdoor education center, located at 6724 Camp Crystal Road in Starke.
Visitors can go fishing, try archery, go on a hayride, do arts and crafts and more, according to the Alachua County Public Schools news release. Families can also try out Camp Crystal Lake’s ropes course!
Additionally, visitors “are invited to bring copies of pictures or any camp memorabilia for a ‘Decades Meet-Up’ in the Rec Hall,” according to the Alachua County Public Schools news release.
Free snacks and drinks will be available, and visitors can purchase Camp Crystal 75th Anniversary t-shirts. The proceeds will go toward funding scholarships for the summer program. Donations will also be accepted, according to the Alachua County Public Schools news release.

Through its outdoor educational programs and summer camp, Camp Crystal Lake has served generations of Alachua County Public School students since 1948, according the Alachua County Public Schools news release.
