Halo Potato Donuts will be celebrating National Doughnut Day all weekend long! They are calling it “National Doughnut Weekend!”

Halo Potato Donuts is a food truck and store in Gainesville that makes potato doughnuts; they describe this type of doughnut as a cross between a cake doughnut and a yeast doughnut. “The best of both worlds!” according to the website.

This weekend, you can go try one of their tasty creations as they celebrate “National Doughnut Weekend” at their shop, located at 1323 South Main Street, Gainesville, Fl 32601, and at their food truck. Both locations will operate from 7 a.m. to sell-out, according to their Instagram page.

“On Friday, our shop will choose random bags and boxes to throw surprise goodies into (this includes stickers, keychains, and maybe even some extra free donuts!),” according to Halo’s Instagram page. “On Saturday and Sunday, we will have a spin the wheel going! If you find a colored sticker inside your box or bag, you’ll have a chance at spinning the wheel! Prizes include Halo merchandise, as well as gift cards and merch to local businesses (think of it, like finding the golden ticket!)”
