With Alachua County Schools starting next week, Food and Nutrition Services will be providing free meals to Digital Academy students starting on September 1.

The meals will be free if you attend a school where all students eat free. Click here to find out if your school receives free meals. For all other Digital Academy students, meal pricing will depend on the meal status of the student: free, reduced or paid.

There will be 17 available pick-up locations where families can go to pick up the meals. “Pick up days will be Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:00 – 1:00. Meal pick up will be at either the bus loop or parent loop depending on location,” according to the Your Choice Fresh website. “On Tuesdays you will receive 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches and on Thursdays you will receive 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches.”

Children are not required to be present to receive the meals, however, Food and Nutrition Services asks that you bring some sort of identification for your students. “The Skyward App will work great to show our staff, other suggestions are a passport, birth certificate, old report card etc,” according to the website.
