Celebrate 2020 National Library Week with the Alachua County Library District through their Share Your Library Love contest!

Do you love your local library? It’s time to share that love! You can record a video of you and your kiddos talking about how much you love Alachua County Libraries, and send it in to be featured on social media, using the hashtag #showyourlibrarylove! Winners of the contest will receive a library sway bag of goodies!

According to the Alachua County Library District, here is how to enter the Share Your Library Love contest:

– Create a short video (no more than 2 minutes). Please introduce yourself – tell us your name and what library you visit most often (example: My name is Emily Dickinson and I go to the Millhopper Branch). Then tell us why you love your library!
Find tips for filming a good smartphone video here

– Post your video on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, be sure to tag us at @alachualibrary and use the hashtag #showyourlibrarylove!

– Don’t do social media? Share your video with us via WeTransfer to rcook@aclib.us. We may share your video on social media and our website.

Three winners of the contest will be announced on Sunday, April 26! Go to the library district’s website for more details.
