On April 29, Farm Share will be coming to Newberry to bring in fresh food to give to families during COVID-19.
Farm Share is an equal opportunity provider that brings “healthy and nutritious fruits, vegetables, proteins and other non-perishable food to Florida families, children, seniors and individuals in need,” according to farmshare.org. “Farm Share partners with hundreds of Florida farmers across the state and throughout the country to receive these fruits and vegetables and distribute them to persons in need free of charge.”
Farm Share will come to Newberry on April 29 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Easton Sports Complex, 24880 NW 16 Ave
Newberry, FL 32669. The food will be distributed at a first-come, first-served basis.
