Danscompany of Gainesville presents “State of Wonder” along with their 42nd Anniversary Concert on March 15, 2025!
Enjoy original jazz, lyrical, tap and contemporary movement as you take a fictional journey with young Marj basking in the sun on the beach with jazzy tourists as she gets pulled into a riptide and the state comes alive with magic. On her adventure we meet the Mermaids of Weeki Wachee Springs, swashbuckling Buccaneers. There will be luminous creatures inspired by bioluminescent jellyfish being added this year that will light up and glow as Marj goes underwater.
Giggle Magazine is giving away TWO family four-packs of tickets to the show of their choice. 1 p.m. or 7 p.m.
