4 Summer Cocktails to Soak Up the Sun!

Summer will officially be here this Saturday on June 20! Get ready for a sunny weekend by learning how to make these four summer cocktails. Perfect for a relaxing day by the pool!

Frozen Mojito

Ingredients:

1⁄2 cup white rum
1⁄4 cup lime juice
10 mint leaves
1⁄4 cup club soda
1⁄2 tablespoons simple syrup
5 tablespoons of sugar 2 1⁄2 cups of ice

Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients into your blender.
  2. Pulse for 1 minute and then blend until slush consistency forms.
  3. Sugar the rims of your desired glass.
  4. Pour and enjoy responsibly!

 

Frozen Ombre Sangria Margarita

Ingredients: Margarita

Frozen lime concentrate
1⁄2 cup tequila
1⁄4 cup triple sec

Ingredients: Sangria

1 cup red wine of your choice
1⁄4 cup triple sec
1⁄4 cup orange juice

Directions:

  1. Pour red wine into ice cube tray and freeze overnight (or until frozen), to make red wine ice cubes.
  2. Put 1 cup ice, frozen lime concentrate, tequila and triple sec into blender.
  3. Pulse for 1 minute and then blend until slush consistency forms. Pour into glass.
  4. Follow Step 2 with ingredients of Sangria.
  5. Pour and enjoy responsibly!

 

Frozen Rosé Prosecco

Ingredients:

1 750ml bottle of rosé prosecco
1 bottle of light pink lemonade
5 tablespoons of sugar
2 cups of ice

Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients into your blender.
  2. Pulse for 1 minute and then blend until slush consistency forms.
  3. Sugar the rims of your desired glass.
  4. Pour and enjoy responsibly!

 

Red, White & Blue Piña Colada

Ingredients:

1/3 cup white rum
1⁄2 cup pineapple juice
1⁄4 cup blue curacao
1⁄4 cup cream of coconut
1⁄2 cup frozen strawberries 2 cups ice

Directions:

  1. Build a base piña colada by pouring pineapple juice, rum, cream of coconut, pineapple juice and ice in blender.
  2. Pulse for 1 minute and then blend until slush consistency forms.
  3. Separate mix into 3 cups. Keep them in the freezer to prevent melting!
  4. Take one piña colada mix and pour it back in the blender. Add the frozen strawberries and blend until it turns red.
  5. Pour the red mix into your desired glass and then pour the white mix on top of the red. Put it back in the freezer.
  6. Take the final piña colada mix and put it in the blender with the blue curacao. Pulse for 1 minute and then blend until it turns blue.
  7. Pour blue mix into the prepared glass, and enjoy responsibly!
