This Friday, June 5, the Cade Museum in Gainesville will reopen with a “re-envisioned Cade Museum experience,” according to the museum.
The museum will begin by reopening only on Fridays and Saturdays for experimental tours with limited capacity, as guest safety is a top priority. People are encouraged to buy their tickets online at www.cademuseum.org.
“More than 50,000 parents and children have continued to interact with the museum, during its closure, through our “Cade at Home” online learning platform, and we are thrilled to reopen our doors to the entire community,” said Stephanie Bailes, Executive Director of the Cade Museum, in a press release.
The Cade Museum is also partnering with Violet Defense, Orlando-based creators of patented, ultraviolet disinfectant devices that eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.
“We have missed everyone and look forward to seeing everyone again. Reopening the Cade feels like a victory for the entire community that we love to serve. We are excited to see inventors of all ages reconnect with STEAM learning at the museum on June 5th and beyond,” Bailes added.
