Newberry parks and playgrounds are now open to the public, and park-goers are still encouraged to follow social distancing guidelines encourages by the CDC.
Yesterday, June 1, WCJB TV20 News reported that the Newberry parks and playgrounds are reopening, and they talked to the Newberry City Manager Mike New who said that the bathroom facilities and playground equipment would be sanitized more often. He also encouraged everyone to continue listening to the CDC’s guidelines and to follow Gov. Ron DeSantis’ orders for going out in public.
