Nobel Peace Prize Winner Malala Yousafzai to Speak at UF Today

The ACCENT Speakers Bureau at UF is excited to have Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai speak at UF today on November 18.

This event will take place virtually on November 18 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. through Zoom. In order to attend the event, you must have a valid UFL email address. You can sign up to attend the Zoom event through this link.

Malala Yousafzai was a young activist for girls’ education, starting at the age of 11. When she was 15, she was attacked by the Taliban for being an advocate for girls’ education and began a long road of recovery in the United Kingdom. Malala became the youngest person to win a Nobel Peace Prize at age 17. She now is an author, speaker, activist and Oxford University graduate. Click here for more information about the event!
