Today (May 21), Universal Orlando Resort shared plans with the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force to reopen the parks in June.

Orlando mayor, Mayor Demings, started the meeting by announcing that he received a copy of the park’s reopening plans. The opening of the Universal Orlando Resort will be a huge factor in reopening the rest of Orange County.

Universal Orlando’s plan to reopen the park is as follows: The park will reopen on June 1, staff will be able to enter the park on June 2 and on June 3 and 4, the park will welcome pass-holders and invited guests. Finally, on June 5, the park will be open to the public, as reported by Insidethemagic.com.

Guidelines such as requiring masks, social distancing, conducting temperature checks and creating a touch-free experience were also discussed. Check-in with universalorlando.com to stay updated.
